Coatings, Adhesives and Specialities
Taking the Lead through Highly Functional, Environmentally Friendly Products
Catering to a wide variety of fields including the automobile, construction, general industry, home electronic appliance and IT sectors, Bayer focuses on the development of advanced, environmentally friendly products. In plastic coating materials, we continue to develop environmentally friendly products utilizing waterborne polyurethanes and enhance sales of these products. This mainly reflects the steady decline in organic solvent use, which began in the 1990s. Also in the area of adhesives, the range of applications is getting broader following the promotion of environmental and health concerns in the construction industry.

Waterborne Coatings
This product enables coatings, perfectly suited for the high-end coating of industrial goods, trains, commercial vehicles and aircraft, thanks to extraordinary chemical resistance.
